Locums Opportunity Interventional Cardiologist -Santa Fe, New Mexico

Looking for a rewarding locums assignment in a stunning Southwest location? Join a supportive team providing essential cardiac care in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This flexible summer role focuses exclusively on hospital call coverageno clinic work required.

Position Overview:

• Assignment Dates: June 9 August 31, 2025

• In-house call only: 5 PM to 7 AM

• 23 weekday nights per week flexible scheduling

• Admissions required

• Hospital is Stroke Certified, Trauma Level III

• No surgical back-up available

• Mix of assigned and unassigned patients

• Epic EMR

Call Volume Snapshot:

• Phone consults: ~2 per shift

• Patients seen in person: ~1 per shift

• Admissions: ~5 per shift

• Facility size: 206 beds

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology Required

• Active New Mexico medical license Required

• ACLS and BLS certifications Required

• Fellowship training preferred
