Locums Rockport, Maine, Anesthesiology OpeningClinical Role:                                              
    • Start: 30 days after the client has received a COMPLETE application
    • Schedule: Day shift 0700 - 1600, night shift home call 1600 - 0700, weekend 24-hour home call
    • Call Schedule: Night float one week at a time if interested
    • Reason for Coverage: Staff retirement
    • Practice Setting: Community hospital with 4 ORs, 2 endo sites, OB
    • Call Ratio: on average once every 4 weeks for a full time staff
    • EMR: Epic
    • Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 10 - 12
    • Trauma Level III
    • Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 4 FTEs
    • Locum Tenen Physician Required to Supervise CRNAs: Yes, care team model. Solo on call
    • Locum Tenens Physician Will Not be Responsible for Preparing the Anesthesia Cart
    • Patient Age Demographic: 1 years and older
    • Number of Operating Rooms: 4
    • Number of Beds: 100
    • Required Procedures:
    • General Surgical Cases ADULT
    • General Surgical Cases PEDIATRIC
    • Minor Nerve Blocks
    • IV Regional anesthesia
    • Plexus anesthesia
    • Spinal Anesthesia
    • Epidural Anesthesia
    • Regional Anesthesia
    • Obstetrical Cases
    • Pain Management Procedures: Acute
    • Insertion of Central Line, Arterial line
    • Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume / BP Issues: Yes
  • Board Certified Required
  • Active ME License Required
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS Required
