• Mon - Fri, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm, 8 - 10 hours/day
• Weeknight and weekend call -- shared with 1 MD and 2 CRNAs
• 10 - 20 patients per day
• Hospital setting
• General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and labor epidurals required
• Emergency airway management, intubations, and cardioversions required
• ER backup coverage required -- difficult intubations and spinals
• Code response required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
