A Pennsylvania-based health services network is seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens at one of their inpatient behavioral health facilities.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 8am to 5pm
• Setting: Inpatient behavioral health facility

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatient admissions
• Complete daily follow-ups and discharge planning
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic psychiatric conditions
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Provide psychopharmacologic medication management and monitor patient response

Qualifications:

• Active medical license
• Board certification or board eligibility in Psychiatry
• Experience providing adult inpatient psychiatric care
• Ability to complete timely and compliant EMR documentation

Desired Skills:

• Experience with crisis intervention, stabilization, and de-escalation
• Background collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams
• Familiarity with quality improvement and professional development initiatives
