A health services network in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide behavioral health services to a diverse, undeserved population across various age groups.

About the Opportunity:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Flexible PT or FT between Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9AM to 5PM
• Patient Population: All Ages
• Patient Volume: 15 patients per day

Responsibilities:

• Performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Providing medication management and monitoring of psychotropic medications
• Developing and managing individualized treatment plans
• Providing brief psychotherapy and counseling when appropriate
• Collaborating with primary care providers, social workers, and behavioral health specialists
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Psychiatric experience
• Active New York PMHNP license
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Enrolled in Medicare/Medicaid
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent teamwork ability
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
• Certification in Community Health
• EMR proficiency
