This county correctional facility provides specialized psychiatric services for inmates requiring mental health treatment in a secure environment. Responsibilities include responding to urgent mental health consults, performing suicide risk assessments, and providing crisis stabilization services in the correctional environment. The clinician will collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team including medical providers, nursing staff, and mental health clinicians to ensure coordinated care delivery. Documentation responsibilities include maintaining detailed patient encounters and treatment plans in the facility's EMR system while coordinating care for inmates pending release or transfer to other facilities.
