This GI Hospitalist locums opportunity in Oklahoma City offers ongoing inpatient procedural and call coverage in a high-acuity hospital setting. The position is ideal for gastroenterologists with strong ERCP experience seeking flexible scheduling while maintaining consistent procedural volume.

• Duration: Ongoing

• Coverage Needed:

  • 12 weeks per month

  • Preference for providers able to offer 2 weeks per month, though 1 week per month will be considered for the next 912 months

• In-House Coverage:

  • 8:00 AM 8:00 PM (12-hour in-house shift)

• On-Call Coverage:

  • 8:00 PM 8:00 AM (12 hours)

• Total Coverage: 24-hour responsibility per shift day

• Average Daily Census:

  • 1520 patients per day

  • ~5 procedures per day

• On-Call Volume:

  • Average calls: 010 (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

  • Average callbacks: 13 overnight per week

• Call Response Time: 15 minutes

Candidates must meet both of the following:

• Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship with ERCP trainingAND

• Current procedural competency, demonstrated by one of the following:

  • Performance of 200 therapeutic ERCPs, 40 sphincterotomies, and 10 stent placements within the past 12 months

  • OR completion of GI fellowship training within the past 12 months

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Active Oklahoma medical license IMLC welcome

• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology
