POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an adult Psychiatrist to join our Inpatient hospital team in Missouri in a remote capacity.

This full-time, tele psychiatrist role supports individuals experiencing acute psychiatric conditions, contributing to both stabilization and long-term treatment planning for patients aged 18+.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and manage ongoing treatment for inpatient populations.
Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
NO weekend or call requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Missouri or the ability to obtain one.
Active DEA registration in Missouri or eligibility to obtain.
Previous experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred.
Comfort with or willingness to use telehealth platforms.
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
