Job Description

Locums Bristol, Virginia, Hematology/Oncology Opening (Float Pool)

Start Date: April 20, 2026Duration: 52 weeks

Schedule & Coverage

  • Clinic Schedule:

    • MondayThursday: 8:00a4:30p (weekly)

    • Friday clinic every 3rd week

  • Call Schedule:

    • MondaySunday call every 3rd week

    • Call Frequency: Every 3 weeks

      Practice Details

      • Practice Setting: Hospital-based Outpatient Hematology/Oncology

      • Patient Volume: 1215 patients per day

      • Patient Population: Adults (18+)

      • EMR: Epic Beacon

      Clinical Infrastructure

      • Clinic attached to a 21-chair infusion room at one location

      • Second location includes a 5-chair infusion center

      • Radiation oncology co-located at one site

      Support Staff

      • Location 1: 3 NPs + dedicated RN

      • Location 2: 1 NP + dedicated RN

      • Nurse navigators, palliative care, and dietitians at both locations

      Candidate Requirements

      • Board Certified Hematology/Oncology or pending board exam Required

      • Active Virginia Medical License Required

      • BLS Required

      • DEA Required

      • Minimum 1 year experience Required

      • Flu Vaccine Required
