Locum Emergency Medicine Physician Trinity, Florida

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician for a long-term locum opportunity in Trinity, Florida. This is a high-volume, general emergency medicine setting with coverage that includes on-site clinical shifts, nights, weekends, and call, offering flexibility within a structured coverage model.

Assignment Details

Start Date: March 1, 2026
Duration: 1 year
Minimum Commitment: 8 shifts required
Coverage Model:
On-site physician coverage
Nights, weekends, and call included
40 hours of physician coverage (shift times vary)

Orientation: One formal orientation plus 12 days of shadowing

Coverage Locations: Must be willing to work at free-standing emergency departments (FSEDs) associated with the main facility

Beds: 39
Daily Census: ~150 patients/day
Daily Admissions: 3540
Patient Population: General emergency medicine
Trauma Level: Not a trauma center
Case Mix: General emergency cases

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified Emergency Medicine Required
EM Residency Trained Required
Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
Comfortable covering both main facility and affiliated FSEDs
