Psychiatrist - Medical Director

Location: Missouri, hybrid role

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a full time adult Hybrid Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient hospital team in Missouri. This part-time, hybrid role involves Medical Director functions, including leading committee meetings and answering administrative questions for a hospital treating adult patients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Medical Director functions - chair committee meetings, be available for any questions about a policy, or other administrative questions that might come up; be available for any state or accreditation audits.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Part-time, approximately 5 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS

Board Certified, or eligible, Psychiatrist.
Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Missouri or the ability to obtain one.
Active DEA registration in Missouri or eligibility to obtain.
Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
