A facility in Lakeland, FL is looking for a locum tenens Gastroenterologist to assist with coverage in 2026. Candidates must be Board Certified and licensed in FL to apply.

While on assignment, be sure to feed the swans at Lake Morton and tour some of Lakelands most notable structures, including The Terrace Hotel, Polk Theatre, and Polk Museum of Art at Florida Southern College.

This position requires on-site call coverage on weeknights and weekends. The provider will have anesthesiologist support and be responsible for rounding and consultations, handling 20-25 patients per day along with 10-15 procedures. The role also includes emergency department coverage.

• Case Load/PPD:  10 - 15 procedures + 20-25 new patient consults per day
