Job Description

Locums Jackson, Michigan Gastroenterology OpeningASAP Ongoing NeedSchedule
  • Mondays and Fridays only
  • 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (fixed day shift) for performing procedures only for entire 8 hours
  • No call (no nights or weekends)
  • Looking for drive-in candidates to work outpatient procedures only not clinic.
Practice Setting
  • Hospital-based GI practice
  • Group size: 4 physicians plus locums
  • Trauma Level II facility
Clinical Details
  • Average of 14 patients per day
  • Procedure schedule:
  • Colonoscopies: 30 minutes
  • EGDs: 30 minutes
  • Double procedures: 60 minutes
  • Mix of outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures
Required Skills & Procedures
    • Colonoscopy
    • EGD
    • ERCP
    • Advanced GI procedures
    EMR
      • Epic
      Candidate Requirements
        • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Required
        • Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology Required
        • Active Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) Required
        • BLS & ACLS Required
        • Epic experience Preferred
        • Local provider Required
