Job Description

Locums OB Hospitalist Marion, OhioLicensing: Willing to License IMLC AcceptedKey Requirements
  • Start Date: 2/6/26
  • Contract: Ongoing
  • Board Status: BC or truly BE in OB/GYN
  • State License: Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ required to submit
  • DEA: Required
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year
  • Call Radius: Must be within 30 minutes
Schedule & Call Structure
  • Coverage Needed:
    • Every Monday
    • Every 4th weekend
  • Weekday Call:
    • 24-hour call, 7a7a, out-of-house
    • 7a7p: Supervise midwife
    • 7p7a: Primary OB Hospitalist (no midwife on call)
    • Weekend Call:
      • Friday 7aMonday 7a
      • Out-of-house call
      • No midwife coverage on nights or weekends
      • Call Responsibilities:
        • All L&D
        • ED OB patients
        • Emergent clinic calls
        • C-sections, emergent GYN surgeries, vaginal deliveries, VBACsClinical Volumes
          • Deliveries: 02 per day
          • Vaginal Deliveries: ~13 per call shift
          • Clinic Calls: 510 per call shift
          • GYN Surgery: Rare
          Work Details
          • Support Staff: Midwives (5 total, covering weekdays 7a7p)
          • Coverage Needed Monthly: 1 weekday/week + 4th weekend
          • EMR: EPIC
          • Hospital Size: 250 beds
          • Practice Setting: Hospital
