OB/GYN Physician Albany, GeorgiaReason for Opening: Replacement (physician relocating out of state) 2026 Graduates AcceptedPosition Overview
  • Setting: Full spectrum OB & GYN
  • Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m. clinic + call
  • Surgery: 1 designated surgery day per week at hospital
  • Call: 1:4 in-house rotation (CNMs provide 7a7p backup)
  • Deliveries: 6070 per month (720840 annually)
  • Team Structure:
    • 4 OB/GYNs
    • 3 CNMs
    • 2 WHNPs
    • 3 additional OB/GYNs PRN for hospital call coverage
    • APP Supervision: YesHospital Affiliation
      • 691-bed teaching hospital
      • Level III NICU | Level II Trauma Center
      • One of six designated perinatal centers in Georgia
      • Only neonatal intensive care provider in the region
      • Annual ER volume: 106,000+
      • Robotic Surgery: DaVinci available
      • EMR: eClinicalWorks (clinic) and Meditech (hospital)
      Compensation & Benefits
      • Salary Range: $280,000$347,500
        • Guaranteed salary for first 6 months, then transitions to production model (based on visits and patient volume; similar to RVU model)
      • High earning potential with goal of 20 patients/day
      • Longevity Loan: Up to $100,000 over 4 years
      • Relocation Assistance:
        • $5,000 (in-state)
        • $10,000 (out-of-state)
        • 50% paid at signing, 50% at start Vacation:
          • 3 weeks (Years 12)
          • 4 weeks (Years 35)
          • 5 weeks (6+ years)
          Sick Leave: 10 days/year (accrued up to 480 hours)CME:
          • 5 days (Years 15)
          • 8 days (6+ years)
          • $3,500 annual allowance (includes dues, licenses, society memberships)DEA Renewal: Employer paid

          • Short-Term Disability: 31-day exclusion, $700/week for 22 weeks (employer paid)

          • Retirement: 403(b) with employer 2% discretionary + 3% match after 1 year
          • Malpractice: FTCA coverage provided
