CardiovascularDepartmentChairtojoinourestablishedandgrowingemployedpractice.TheDepartmentChairis

responsiblefordeliveringoutstandingpatientcareaswellasadministrativeleadershipandoversightforthe

departmentandclinicalspecialty subsections.

Responsibilities:

• Conductsclinical,administrativeandqualityoversightofourcardiologyproviderswithintheDepartment.
• Clinicalworkasa0.8FTEand0.2administrativeFTE.
• Establishesstandardsandprotocolsforevidence-basedcardiovascularmedicinewithintheDepartment.
• Determinestheimmediate,intermediateandlong-termgoalsfortheCardiologyDepartmentinalignmentwithDepartmentstrategy.
• Conductsannualperformancereviewsofcardiologyprovidersandsupportstheirprofessionaldevelopment.
• WorkswithChiefMedicalOfficertocontinuouslyimprovecardiovascularqualityandpatientexperience.
• Participateinleadershipdevelopmentprograms, medicalstaffcommitteesandservesasavotingmemberoftheMedicalGroup.
• LeadershipCouncilasrequiredbythe Chief Medical Officer.
• Ongoingcommitmenttocontinuingmedicaleducationandprofessionaldevelopmentofcardiology providers withintheDepartment.

• Participatesinandpromotescardiovascularmedicaleducationincludingdevelopmentof
• continuingmedicaleducationprograms,curriculaandprogrammatic design for medical
• student, future GME programs, and APPs.
