Emergency Medicine Locum Opportunity North Adams, MA

Looking for a high-impact Emergency Medicine role with flexible locum coverage and excellent support? Were actively seeking talented physicians for overnight shifts at two well-established facilities in scenic North Adams, Massachusetts.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Immediate start with ongoing need

• Overnight coverage only: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Work between two facilities with a combined ER volume of 55,000 annually

• Trauma Level 3 32 total beds

• EMR system: Meditech

• 12-hour shifts available

• No responsibility for codes or admissions handled by hospitalists/admitting services

• Strong APP coverage

• 30% daily admission rate from the ED

• On-call physicians must respond within 30 minutes (per hospital bylaws)

• Paramedic/ambulance supervision via radio required

• Deliveries routed directly to Labor & Delivery

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts license strongly preferred; licensed providers will be prioritized

• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications required

• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

• Local candidates only
