Were seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity at a leading medical center in Charleston, West Virginia. This is a flexible, low-intensity inpatient role with a respected team and strong support staff. Perfect for physicians open to travel and long-term assignments.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed through September 1, 2025

• Duration: 1-year contract preferred

• Schedule Options: MondayFriday or 7-on / 7-off

• Hours: 8-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM

• No Call Coverage

Clinical Details:

• Inpatient Consult-Only Role no follow-ups, no ICU

• Trauma Level I Hospital

• Average Census: ~10 patients/day

• Support Staff: Advanced practice providers (NPs or PAs)

• Required Skills: Cardiograms, Nuclear Stress Testing

• Practice Setting: Hospital

• Hospital Size: 1,078 beds

• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Cardiology

• BLS and ACLS certified

• DEA license required

• West Virginia License or IMLC (willing to license IMLC-qualified physicians)

• Credentialing timeframe: ~60 days
