TeamHealth has a great tele-hospitalist opportunity for a full-time, board-certified internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) physician with a North Carolina medical license who resides in the United States to provide remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System hospitals in Western North Carolina. A minimum of 5 years of hospitalist experience is preferred. Hours are 7p-7a and responsibilities include:

• Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
• Entering admission orders
• Prescribing medications
• Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's EMR
• Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians on site
