Schedule: 24-hour call coverage across 3 local hospitals

FTE Needed: 1.0 (open to multiple providers rotating to fill)

Duration: 46 months preferred

Clinical Scope:

• Full-spectrum Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery

• Inpatient surgical cases elective & emergency

• Must be able to harvest own veins (hospital may provide PA based on volume)

• Estimated 100 cardiac cases/year

• 1015 patients/day

• Facilities supported by standard inpatient & clinic resources

• EMR: Cerner McKesson (clinic); Paragon & CHS proprietary (hospital)

Requirements:

• BC or truly BE in Cardiothoracic Surgery

• Fellowship in CV Surgery Required

• Active TX license Required

• BLS & ACLS Required (can be renewed onsite if needed)

• Must be comfortable covering both cardiac and thoracic cases

• Clean malpractice preferred, but not required
