A large hospital is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located near West Burlington, Iowa.

This role includes clinic, inpatient care, and 24-hour call coverage. Responsibilities involve performing diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and reading echocardiograms, Holter monitors, and event monitors. Additional procedures include transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions.

• Case Load/PPD:  12-15 PPD in clinic
• Support Staff:  4 cardiologist, 1 NP. Will have their own MA/nurse
• Patient Population:  Adults
• Call Ratio/Schedule:  Call 8am 8am Weekend call 8am Fri to 8am Monday. In rotation with 2 other providers
