General Cardiologist Locums Opportunity in Flagstaff, Arizona(IMLC Accepted Start ASAP)

Step into a high-demand cardiology role in the stunning mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide care in a well-established cardiovascular institute while enjoying the beauty and outdoor lifestyle of Northern Arizona.

Position Overview:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Length: 6 months

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

• Call: 12 weekends per month

• Setting: Hospital-based cardiology coverage for an established Cardiovascular Institute

• Facility Size: 268-bed hospital

• Patient Volume: 1620 patients per day

• Patient Population: Primarily age 60+

Team & Support:

• Work alongside 2 experienced cardiologists

• Full-time coverage needed

• EMR: Cerner

What Were Looking For:

• Board Certified in General Cardiology

• Active AZ medical license or IMLC-eligible

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of experience

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with both staff and patients

• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days

• Interview format: Teams video interview
