Locum Tenens Interventional CardiologistLocation: Beckley, West VirginiaStart Date: June 16, 2025Assignment Type: OngoingLicense: Active WV License or IMLC AcceptedSetting: Inpatient OnlySchedule & Call

Coverage Type: Call Only
Call Type: Beeper
Call Response Time: 30 minutes required
Orientation: Day prior to start, time varies depending on Meditech familiarity
Trauma Level: Level III

Clinical Details

Department Beds (Cath Lab): 4
Cath Labs: 2
Exam Rooms: 3
Other ICs on Staff: 2 full-time
Team Support:
- 7 RNs
- 8 Techs
- On-call team: 3 RNs + 1 Tech
Volume: Varies 0 to a few cases/week
Duties:
- STEMI call
- Consults on unassigned inpatients
- Procedures as credentialed
- Admissions required
- Assigned/unassigned patient rounding
Supervision of Other Providers: Not required
EMR: Meditech

Provider Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
Licensure:
- Active West Virginia license or IMLC Required
Certifications:
- BLS Required
- EMTALA Required
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology Preferred
