A large Health system providing healthcare throughout New Hampshire and Vermont, including 6 affiliated hospitals and 30 ambulatory clinics, is adding a General Surgeon to our 25-bed critical access hospital. The hospital recently received a 5-star quality ranking from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

About the Opportunity:

• A critical access hospital located in the scenic, rural Upper Valley of New Hampshire
• This position is part of a Community General Surgery program that includes four hospitals
• This program allows for collegiality among surgeons in similar positions for support and academia
• The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, a commitment to student and resident education, and a passion for rural surgery
• Basic laparoscopic and endoscopic skills are essential
• Robotic surgery is also an option
• Academic appointments commensurate with experience will be awarded
• Clinical practice will be focused on one Hospital where medical students and residents may rotate
