Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Opportunity Charleston, West VirginiaIMLC Accepted | Large Academic Hospital | Vacation Coverage NeedPosition Summary:We are currently seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage in Charleston, West Virginia. This role offers a structured schedule in a high-volume hospital with an experienced team and the support you need to succeed. This is an ideal opportunity for physicians seeking periodic work, a flexible schedule, and the potential for ongoing dates.Key Details:
- Start Date: Thursday, July 31
- Initial Contract Length: 7 days
- Orientation/Training: July 31 and August 1
- Solo Coverage Dates: August 4 8
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Future Needs: Ongoing vacation coverage, additional dates expected
- Setting: Large 900+ bed hospital
- Practice Environment: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
- EMR: Cerner
- PACS: Fuji
- Common Procedures Include:
- Ultrasound-guided biopsies
- CT-guided biopsies
- Drainages and chest tubes
- Mediport placement and removal
- Board Certification in Radiology (required)
- Active state license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) accepted
- DEA license (required)
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS (required)
- Willing to license under IMLC only
