Job Description
A large health system in western Massachusetts has an opening for a General Anesthesiologist. We are a small, collegial group of anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and anesthesia technicians. We are looking for a team player who would like to practice in a care team model and who can perform solo cases on call.
About the opportunity:
- This is a full-time position with home call
- Approximately six calls are taken monthly, split between first and back-up calls
- The morning of and the day after the first call are off
- Clinical practice is an engaging mix of orthopedic, general, urology, plastics, ENT, obstetrics, and neurosurgery
- There is no cardiac and occasional pediatrics
- Fairly heavy regional exposure with anesthesiologists doing their blocks
