LOCUM POSITION DETAILS #47157 Northern Coast, CA
Dates: As soon as credentialed. Able to start July 1, 2024. With ongoing potential.
Rate: All-inclusive rate.
- Full-time GI needed (will look at a pair of 2 providers together for scheduling).
- ER Call one week per month.
- Procedures Up to 4 days a week. Approximate time per procedure: 45 min.
- Clinic 1 day per week.
- 100% Adult. 30% Clinic. 70% Hospital.
- Average amount of patience per day: 12-16.
- Average patients per physician per day: 6-9.
- Physicians in practice: 2; Mid-levels: 1
- Supervision of NP (mid-levels)
- Support Staff: 1 NP, 4 MA, 1 Procedure Scheduler, 1 Front Desk. Facility looking to add a CRNA. Will have ANES available.
Procedures Needed:
Required:
Gastroenterology Outpatient + Inpatient.
Upper GI endoscopy: includes biopsy (including - small bowel), foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), banding of varices, PEG.
Esophageal (all)
Lower GI endoscopy: Sigmoidoscopy flexible.
Colonoscopy
Not required: injection of varices
Preference: ERCP***, Diagnostic, Therapeutic, Insertion/management of Blakemore tube.
*** Highly Preferred Candidates.
REQUIRED:
- CA state license; active, unrestricted
- Board Certified Gastroenterology
- ACLS must be from AHA.
- CA FLURO active, unrestricted.
COMPENSATION:
