Locum Urbana, Illinois, Anesthesiology OpeningClinical Role:

- ASAP Ongoing Need
- Monday-Friday, 6:30am-4:30pm. Must be available for a full week at a time, at least one full week per month, preferably two or more weeks per month, ongoing
- No Call, No Weekends
- Locum must be able to attend an onsite orientation on a weekday prior to first assignment (typically set for 7:30a-5p), which would include administrative paperwork and EPIC Training
- Physicians in Department: 13
- Patient Population Mix: Mix of Adult and Geriatric. Dedicated pediatric anesthesiologist coverage onsite
- Average # of Cases/Day: 15
- Support Staff: 13 MDs, 60+ CRNAs
- Procedures Required: Standard scope of practice by a General Anesthesiologist, such as nerve blocks and epidurals. Includes supervision of CRNAs. Typical ratio is 1:4 but we have an experienced team of CRNAs (teams for peds, OB, and heart)
- Locum will cover in the main ORs
- Number of Beds: 453
- Level I Trauma Center
- Licensure Requirements: MD or DO
- BC or BE in Anesthesiology - Required
- IL License Active or IMLC (LOQ in hand) Required
- IL DEA Active - Required
- BLS (AHA) Certification - Required
- EMR: Epic
