Job Description

Join an established and expanding vascular surgery team at their Level II trauma center in South Alabama, this is a hospital-employed surgical practice. This physician will provide comprehensive vascular care, including but not limited to, stenting/angioplasty, aneurysm repairs, aortic endograft, carotid stenting and endarterectomy, AV loop procedure, balloon angioplasty/stent placement, wound management.

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Coverage provided at only one hospital
  • Call shared equally at a 1:2 ratio with the other Vascular Surgeon; approximately 11 days/month, including weekend coverage
  • Clinic is located on the campus for easy access to hospital, Emergency Department, and surgical suite
  • Dedicated CRNP/RNFA
  • Vascular hybrid OR available
  • Robust IM Hospitalist service provides medical consultative support for non-surgical issues
