Job Description

Locums Radiologist Needed | Williston, ND | IMLC AcceptedJoin a collaborative care team in a well-equipped, rural hospital setting while providing vital imaging and procedural services to an underserved community. This locums opportunity in Williston, North Dakota, offers flexible scheduling, no call, and a broad procedural scope for hands-on radiologists.Position Details:

June coverage needed
Schedule Options:
2 weeks/month | MondayFriday, 7:00 AM7:00 PM
OR flexible 8-hour shifts available

No Call Required

Onsite only to perform procedures and reads

EMR: MeditechProcedures & Responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic reads and perform minor interventional procedures including:
Diagnostic mammography (24 per day when onsite)
Breast biopsies, localizations (magseed/magtrace), cyst aspirations
Arthrograms, joint aspirations, and injections
ESI, SI, and facet injections (as able)
PICC line placements, lumbar punctures, CT cystograms
Bone marrow biopsy, abscess drainage, lymph node/kidney/muscle/thyroid biopsies
Hysterosalpingograms, barium enemas, upper GI, small bowel follow-through

Expect to perform 510 procedures/day depending on complexity

Read diagnostic studies in between procedures (CT, MRI, X-ray, DEXA, etc.)

Medicare overreads provided on requestHospital & Team Info:

25-bed critical access hospital with average inpatient census of ~13
Additional 19 observation beds
Level IV trauma center
Active surgical and OB departments (5060 births/month)
Currently 24 radiology provider days per month; seeking consistent coverage for improved procedural access

Candidate Requirements:

Board Certified Radiologist
ND license preferred, but IMLC candidates welcome
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA, MQSA
Must be comfortable with a broad range of general and procedural radiology
