Locums Fort Myers, Florida, Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology OpeningClinical Role:

- Looking for ASAP starts to help once a week per month
- Schedule is Monday through Friday/Monthly
- Ambulatory hours M-F 8a-5pm; Inpatient hours M-F 8a-5pm
- Seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist with expertise and training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation to join the Advanced Heart Failure Center
- This is an integrated AHF cardiology and surgical program that provides high-quality, comprehensive care in all spectrums of diagnostic and therapeutic heart failure service
- Schedule is Monday through Friday/ monthly
- Ambulatory hours M-F 8a-5pm; Inpatient hours M-F 8a-5pm
- Advanced Heart Failure Physician needed
- Will be rounding on inpatient AHF service as well as ambulatory care of heart failure patients
- We do not perform heart transplantations; the group collaborates closely with four regional heart transplant referral centers
- Advanced surgical treatment options include implantable heart devices, including percutaneous and surgical Impellas and ECMO
- 8-12 inpatient; outpatient 2-4
- 15 patients a day
- Inpatient has intermittent inpatient APP, office has a customer service rep, MA, RN
- No Call, No Weekend Call, must work onsite
- NP support available inpatient and outpatient most of the time. No Procedures.
- BC/BE by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
- Completion of an ACGME accredited heart failure fellowship
- Proficient in management of short-term mechanical support devices including Impella and ECMO
- More than 5 years post-fellowship experience is preferred
- Eager to work in a growing, high-volume practice and have excellent interpersonal skills
