As an Endocrinologist you will: - Focus on disorders of the internal (endocrine) glands such as the thyroid and adrenal glands. - Examine, diagnose, treat and/or prevent diseases of the hormone producing glands of the body, including the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal, pancreas, and the gonads. - Provide expertise with disorders such as diabetes, metabolic and nutritional disorders, obesity, pituitary diseases, and menstrual and sexual problems. - Procedural expertise includes fine-needle aspiration of the thyroid, performance and interpretation of dynamic tests of endocrine function.
