We have been serving the community for over 25 years in our 12 full time offices covering a service area of the size of the state of Maryland. Austin Heart offers comprehensive clinical services including a robust research program.

Practice Opportunity

The office is located in Harker Heights, Texas, located 70 miles from Austin and serving the residents of Bell and Coryell Counties.

We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join Randy Mccollough. interventional cardiologist, and Dr. Adolph Mares, general cardiologist to serve this growing area.

Office Practice

The cardiologist will see office patients at our Harker Heights office. This office provides stress tests, echo, and stress echo, vascular diagnostic studies, nuclear stress imaging, holter monitoring and event monitoring along with consultative services. The cardiologists may be involved with one outreach clinic similar to the other physicians in this office.

Hospital Practice

The cardiologist will work in the 83-bed Seton Medical Center ' Harker Heights. There are 120 physicians on the medical staff with 35 specialists. The hospital has a 24-hour emergency room with full complement of non-invasive imaging (ultrasound and nuclear) services along with one cardiac cath lab and one interventional suite with peripheral capabilities. The hospital census will range from 5 to 15 patients daily. The cardiologist should be skilled in both coronary and peripheral interventional cardiology.

Call Responsibilities

As a 24-hour/365 day business, effective medical coverage is critical to our success. Our call coverage program will be one every four weeknights and one every fourth weekend.
