Psychiatry Medical Director, IOP Program, Mon – Fri Schedule, No Call.


Multi- specialty Group practice is seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to be the medical director of their program. This is both an administrative and clinical position. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and therapists in delivering quality care to patients.


Medical Director develops appropriate and effective psychopharmacological interventions for psychiatric disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, substance use, eating disorders and co-occurring disorders. Interfaces with families of patients for consent and support of psychopharmacological interventions. Effectively supervise /interface with the treatment team, contributing to the case conceptualization, treatment plan and assessing the ongoing effectiveness of the interventions.


Group provides treatment that's client-focused, strength-based, and individualized in a comfortable setting. Group includes a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and an outpatient counseling program.


Behavioral disorders are complex illnesses caused by a combination of factors such as an individual’s characterological components, physiological issues, difficult family and interpersonal relationships, and societal pressures. The mission is to provide patients with a comprehensive and quality continuum of care and work to promote the development of a healthy self that encompasses both emotional and physical well-being

Requirements: Current license to practice in Massachusetts. Board certification in psychiatry. 5+ years of experience in the management and direction of clinical programs preferred. Interpersonal skills to manage medical staff, treat patients, and foster customer and referral relations.
