Duties: ED & clinic coverage 

Possible shift coverage: weekend ED coverage (Friday 5pm thru Monday 8am) 2 weekends a month; weekday clinic/ED coverage (Monday-Friday).  They are preferring a 7 day stretch, Monday-Sunday or weekend thru the following Friday every other week. 

Provider Type: MD/DO who is a Boarded FM, EM, or IM with ED experience

Volumes: clinic 10-15 patients/day; ED 15 patients/weekend; inpatient 1-2/weekend

EMR: EPIC

Pay: $105-115/hr pay

Responsibilities: primary ED & “code” responder; all admissions & transfers; conduct inpatient rounding as needed (but not responsible for inpatient procedures); nursing home incoming calls.

Support: 4 full time APP’s for clinic support.  24/7 anesthesia if not available, ED physician responsible for intubating when necessary.

Requirements: ACLS; ATLS or CALS
