Pay Details:

For Locals: $36/hr to $40/hr

For Travelers/Stipend Candidates (If your permanent address is outside the 50-mile radius from the facility):

Blended Hourly W2 Pay Rate:      $38.00
Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate:  $1,520.00
Minimum Hourly W2 Pay Rate:    $10.00
Hourly Stipend:                              $28.00    
Min. W2 Weekly Gross (Taxable):  $400.00
Weekly Stipend (Non-Taxable):    $1,120.00

OR

For Traveler 1099 Candidates:
Pay Rate on 1099 to the Candidate: $40.00
Weekly 1099 Traveler Pay Rate:     $1,600.00

Our client is seeking a skilled and dependable Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join their rehabilitation team. The PTA will provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function through therapeutic interventions.

Working collaboratively with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals, the PTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, document treatments, and report patient outcomes to the supervising physical therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic treatments under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises, gait and balance training, massage, and other therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Report patient responses and progress to the supervising physical therapist.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and functional independence.
• Follow established treatment plans, safety protocols, and facility procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Physical Therapist Assistant program from an accredited institution – Required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of PTA experience – Required
• Active Texas or Compact PTA license – Required
