Morning shift 9a-7p and evening shift 3p-11p

' Reason for Coverage: APP on parental leave for the summer

' Schedule Options:

- 9:00 AM ' 7:00 PM

- 9:00 AM ' 9:00 PM

- 3:00 PM ' 11:00 PM

' Total ED Beds: 8

' Average Daily Volume: 45 patients per day

' Hospital Admissions from ED: ~80%

' ED Patients Admitted Daily: 6%

' ED Patients Transferred Daily: 6%

' Fast Track: No

' ED Physician Group Size: 10 physicians

' Trauma Designation: Critical Access Hospital

' Patient Population: Pediatric through Adult (skews older/geriatric)

' 24/7 Radiology, 24/7 Laboratory, 24/7 OR Availability, 24/7 Anesthesia

' Blood Bank (AABB Certified),

' Surgical Services: General Surgery

' APP will not work autonomously

' Supervising physician present during assignment

' APP will not be expected to respond to house codes (physician only)

' ED staff respond to house codes

' EKG interpretations performed by provider

' ED responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics via radio

' Deliveries go directly to Labor & Delivery

' Consulting Services Available: Radiology, Critical Care, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Urology, Hematology/Oncology, Psychiatry

' Required: Must be board Certified NCCPA (PA) or AANP (NP), ACLS, must have 2 years ER experience (no new grad), active MA license
