Major Duties - Perform a wide variety of complex ultrasound examinations of human patients to aid in the diagnosis of disease or injury. - Explain the ultrasound examining process to the patient. - Extend and/or modify the procedure to ensure full and accurate information. - Select, set up, adjust, and operate ultrasound equipment. - Train radiologists, physician assistants, students, and other personnel in ultrasound principles, procedures, capabilities, techniques and equipment. - Perform operator level maintenance and care of equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.
