MAJOR DUTIES - Provide instructions and guidance on changes in regulations, policies, procedures, and priorities. - Responsible for the technical accuracy of all work performed in the assigned section. - Evaluate, adapt or develop new methods or revise standard techniques to improve accuracy, specificity, sensitivity, or reproducible testing. - Identify unusual results or discrepancies/conditions which cause erroneous results. - Ensure that all instruments in the area of responsibility are maintained to standard. Performs other duties as assigned.
