Major Duties: - Provide a full range of audiology diagnostic and rehabilitative services to adult and pediatric patients. - Perform patient assessments and evaluations. - Identify and diagnose degree of communication disorders created by hearing loss and other potentially complicating factors. - Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team which must coordinate with other professionals to ensure the patients with multiple handicapping conditions receive the coordinated care they need. - Plan and implement aural habilitation/rehabilitation programs for adults and children. - Manage the Hearing Program and the Hearing Readiness Support for the organization. - Contribute to the training of support personnel. - Provide counseling and supportive guidance to patient, family, and significant others. Perform other duties as assigned.
