- Interprets and addresses abnormal diagnostic data and changes in signs and symptoms; modifies anesthetic plan accordingly. - Determines necessity for laboratory studies, coordinates ordering of lab tests and evaluates results. - Provides immediate, post-operative care to patients transported to the PACU, ICU or recovery area; ensures patient airway, hemodynamic stability, optimal pain control and appropriate level of consciousness. - Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings to treat underlying causes and conditions and stabilize the patient for transport to a higher level of care. - Collaborates with the anesthesia, surgical and multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, holistic, evidence-based care. - Provides oversight and instruction to other CRNAs, students, and ancillary workers in the field of anesthesia, in both clinical and administrative areas. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned
