Duties - Transport patients from hospital units to the operating room. - Screen patients for completeness of preoperative documentation. - Position the patient for the specific surgical procedure. - Assembling surgical instruments and equipment based on the procedure and the surgeons preference. - Monitor safe handling and disposal of sharp and biohazardous materials. - Provide surgical instruments such as sponges, sutures, and solutions as requested by surgical staff.
