Duties - Apply Advanced Assessment skills to identify difficult patient care problems, formulate complex plans to meet patient care needs and revise goals/objectives according to changes in patient status. - Administer and monitor oxygen therapy and utilize intensive pulmonary care techniques. - Administer a wide variety of rapid acting, highly potent medications according to unit policies, procedures, and protocols. - Closely monitor and document patient's response and adjust therapy accordingly. - Operate and monitor the performance of sophisticated equipment used in the care of critically ill patients. - Initiate/coordinate patient care conferences as needed to support family centered care.
