- - Provide Emergency Department Clinical Nursing care to patients of any age group. - Quickly assess incoming patients and prioritize patient care based on need, available staffing, and patient acuity. - Monitor and oversee staff performance to ensure that work is accomplished in an acceptable and timely manner. - Balance risk of patients within the waiting room versus patients in treatment rooms by optimizing patient rooming, communicating, and expediting patient discharges. - Oversee nursing operations, within Emergency Department, in the absence of the Clinical Head Nurse. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned -
