Duties - Perform complete medical surveillance and pre-employment physical assessments. - Coordinate and conduct other specific programs, e.g., hearing conservation, vision screening, etc., related to general health maintenance and health promotion offered employees. - Recommend placement consistent with job requirements, periodic job related medical surveillance, and fitness for duty. - Interpret results of examinations and differentiate between normal and abnormal conditions. - Utilize the nursing process to formulate patient care plans. - Identify and document the effectiveness of care provided and revises care plan, as needed. - Assist in updating occupational health programs, drafting and developing SOPs, directives and local occupational health regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
