As a Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography)you will: - Conduct a variety of polysomnography tests. - Prepare, calibrate, interface, and operate all equipment used in polysomnographic procedures. - Explain procedures, and position patient to insure patient comfort for optimal recording of EEG. - Record significant observations such as sleep stage, heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation level, body position; presence and/or absence of sleep apnea, snoring, cardiac arrhythmias, and night terrors. - Calibrate and maintain in proper working order complex respiratory equipment. - Interpret data obtained from all night recording. - Performs Other Duties as Assigned
