The trauma surgery nurse practitioner will provide essential support to trauma surgeons during night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Responsibilities include conducting patient rounds, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and coordinating patient care to ensure continuity throughout the treatment process. The position requires trauma board certification and prescriptive authority to effectively manage patient care protocols. The clinician will work four 12-hour shifts using the Meditech EMR system for all clinical documentation and patient management activities.
