The team includes multiple attending surgeons and experienced APPs working with integrated EMR systems. The facility provides opportunities for clinicians to float between nearby locations within a short driving distance.

Ohio features prominent attractions including the National Museum of the US Air Force and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, alongside entertainment venues such as Cedar Point amusement park and Kings Island. The region offers educational institutions like Ohio State University, sports facilities including Great American Ball Park and Huntington Bank Field, and cultural sites such as the Newport Aquarium and Greater Columbus Convention Center. The clinician will work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, reviewing schedules and checking on ICU and step-down patients while preparing for surgical cases. Responsibilities include assisting in cardiac and thoracic surgeries, performing vein harvesting and thoracic procedures such as robotic and VATS cases, and managing post-operative patients. The position requires APP-level procedures within privileges including pacing wire removal and chest tube management, along with documentation and care coordination. Twenty-four hour call coverage is required on select weekdays and weekends with rounding responsibilities during call shifts.
