POSITION DUTIES: - Identify, diagnose, and treat complex disorders and impairments related to areas such as fluency, speech articulation and patterns, cognitive aspects, etc. - Review and analyze case history regarding the patient's general health and development, motor skills, speech and language development, swallowing development and/or function, onset and course of the communication and/or swallowing problems. - Diagnosis deficits of speech and language utilizing specialized test instruments and clinical observations. - Administer the test battery and analyze and interpret test results. - Provide evidence-based Play intervention to patients and their families located both at the home institution as well as at remote locations in person and via virtual services as necessary Performs other duties as assigned.
