Job Description
- Plan, direct, manage, evaluate, develop an organizational and conceptual leadership to a clinical psychology training program. - Provide training, direction and instruction to nurse providers, certified/licensed and unlicensed counselors, psychology interns, psychiatry residents, and paraprofessionals. - Provide professional oversight of training in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. - Conduct peer supervision and review of records - Evaluate and revise standard operating procedures - Conduct program evaluation. - Review data provided in reports of special actions. - Evaluate and approve educational packet. - Performs other duties as assigned. - Conditions of Employment: - Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. - Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment. - Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights. - The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. - Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series. - The employee must be licensed and maintain a license for independent practice as a clinical psychologist in a U.S. State, commonwealth, or territory. - This position requires a Secret Clearance
